January 10th Progress Report! Zol'gan2 Boss, Brisk.


Heyo everyone! Here we are again! This week was entirely focused on the new boss for Zol'gan2, which we will call "Brisk" for now.

Brisk brings several new things to deal with.

Reflective Barrier: Lasers shot while this field is up will be reflected back at the player.

Soul Siphon: Basically Brisk uses an equivalent to Rooster's active on the player. (A beam that will create clones of you to fight by his side)

Hellfire: Brisk summons an arsenal of weapons, then retreats behind a Reflective Barrier. You must destroy all weapons before the field will come down.

Rock Kick: He kicks da rock.

In Phase 2, Brisk will arm himself with a laser sword, and will a new flurry attack.

There is a lot going on with this boss, and is due for some rebalancing before the build launch as he is... pretty damn cheap right now, but after some reeling back, hopefully he will be a refreshing boss to fight, as he will require more attention than many others.

Anyways! Thanks again everyone! Next week is going to be focusing on getting documents lined up for the next batch of VA work. It will be a process, but I would like to get started on it at least. On top of that, I will likely also be doing more UI implementation.
