December 23rd Progress Update! Mechanics/abilities/sneak peeks


Heyo everyone! This week was dedicated to adding the new level mechanics, and abilities to our catgirl (Who we call Nika for now).

There were final animated sequences, and mechanics with an alternate path implemented.

Nika's abilities are currently as follows:

Nika's Active, Playful: Throws out a ball of yarn in front of the player that can be collected

Nika's Passive, Reckless: For every yarn you collect, you get +1% attack speed, but +1% damage received.

These abilities will likely be experimented with, and is subject to balance changes.

A good amount of art was done up, and implemented as well!

Due to the nature of the boss this time around, we are going to shuffle the order of workflow a bit. This next week is going to dedicated to breaking up, and animating Nika's first Hscene!

Also I adore how happy/excited she looks in this scene, it just makes me so gshdbduejdicbe :D
